Lucia D’Anna started her cello studies in Milano with Marco Bernardin. She obtained Bachelor in Music performance and Master in Music Pedagogy in Lugano at the Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana, in the class of Taisuke Yamashita and Mattia Zappa. She is currently in the class of Myrna Herzog for viola da gamba and Baroque cello at the Tel Aviv Conservatory of Music.


She took many masterclasses with different teachers as: Rinaldo Alessandrini, Gaetano Nasillo, Zvi Plesser, Julius Berger. She played in different orchestras such as: Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Jugend Munchen Philarmonie, Aaragu Jugend sinfonie Orchester, LaVerdi Milano. She played in the two years program of Teatro alla Scala Academy. She currently plays baroque cello with Ensemble PHOENIX and The Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra. 


Lucia is interested in contemporary music. She played in the contemporary music season ‘900 e presente' in Lugano and in the theatre play at the Teatro Piccolo di Milano.

 

She is a cello teacher in the pre-academic and academic courses of the Magnificat Institute in Jerusalem, Old city.
